HigherEd BlogCon 2006: Transforming Academic Communities with New Tools of the Social Web

Evento organizado por Thomson Peterson, PRNewswire, y the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE)*. Se considera un evento pionero, que tiene como objetivo reunir en un espacio web individual a la mayoría de aquellos líderes del momento que están transformando la vida académica mediante el uso de nuevas herramientas en la Web Social.

Las presentaciones estarán disponibles en el sitio Web del evento, sin cargo a los participantes, excepto aquellos que serán transmitidos en vivo, en la Serie Hablada de Eventos en línea CASE mediante Web/Audio)

Creado después de lo que se conoció como Global PR Blog Week 2.0; Higher Ed BlogCon se enfocará en el uso de blogs, wikis, RSS, podcasts, vblogs, así como otras herramientas digitales utilizadas en la academia.

EL PROGRAMA
Las presentaciones serán asíncronas y los asistentes podrán dialogar en línea mediante el blog con los presentadores. Durante Abril, se darán diversos seminarios en línea en los temas principales y serán puesto a disposición de todos mediante las Series Habladas en línea de CASE.

En el tema "Enseñanza" (Teaching) se tratarán subtemas como:

Para quien desee participar como presentador, puede revisar la
CONVOCATORIA en la que se describen los requisitos en la misma. Aunque el cierre de propuestas se extendió para el pasado 15 de febrero, se ha incluido una indicación de que propuestas posteriores a tal fecha podrían ser tomadas en cuenta.
